Mission of the position and Location of the position

We are seeking a Strategic Cybersecurity Communications Expert—Grade 11—to serve as a facilitator between the business, technical teams, and legal. Your mission will be to:

Ensure the “License to Operate” by making sure all stakeholders understand and fulfill their security commitments.

Give meaning to security metrics and translate them into clear, actionable guidance.

Coordinate response efforts during crisis situations.

This is a hybrid/remote position based in Spain, with flexibility to manage critical events across multiple time zones.

Description of responsibilities

Lessons Learned (≈ 40 %)

Capture and document learnings from each incident, covering processes, tools, standards, and organizational improvements.

Ensure the business understands and applies these lessons (e.g., patching, controls) and takes ownership of required actions.

Persuade business leaders to invest in security measures when needed.

Metrics & Reporting (≈ 40 %)

Manage the communication of Cyber Security Center (CSC) KPIs to the board and other stakeholders.

Go beyond dashboards: interpret data, explain its impact, and define clear next steps.

Example: articulate the risks of uncontrolled USB device usage and its potential business impact.

Remediation Coordination (≈ 10–20 %)

Lead crisis teams (IT, legal, business) during high-severity incidents.

Translate requirements between teams and facilitate task flow in language everyone can understand.

Must haves

Technical background or proven experience in cybersecurity (threats, TTPs, risk management).

Track record of communicating security issues across multiple stakeholder groups: IT, legal, business.

Ability to interpret metrics and craft persuasive, actionable messages.

Skilled at cross-functional coordination and tracking action items.

Strong influencing skills without formal authority, with excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
