The mission of this role is to design, structure, and transform operational IT data for analysis and visualization, enabling smart decision-making within the IT Service Management team. The position is based in Barcelona with a hybrid work model — in-office presence is required once a week. You’ll be working from either the corporate HQ or a tech-focused workspace in Pier01 (Barceloneta).
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain ETL processes within the GCP ecosystem (BigQuery, Dataform, CloudRun).
- Optimize and transform data using advanced SQL and prepare datasets for dashboards and external consumption.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and monitoring tools using platforms like Looker Studio, Grafana, or Looker.
- Define and visualize key IT operational KPIs.
- Participate in agile rituals including dailies, weeklies, and bi-weeklies with service and tech teams.
- Collaborate with service managers and data professionals to deliver impactful reporting solutions.
Requirements
- Solid experience working with GCP tools: BigQuery, Dataform, Terraform,CloudRun.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with GitHub, CloudBuild, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to work independently and deliver results.
- Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ITIL and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
- Previous experience in IT Operations or working in DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or iterative development.
- Experience with time series databases and API integrations (e.g. Azure).
- Basic understanding of Java is a plus.
